We welcome all friends, families and members of the community - of all ages, faiths and cultural backgrounds to join us as we worship God.

At Port Macquarie Adventist Church we love to gather together for spiritual and social nourishment on Sabbath (Saturday) each week.  Every Sabbath morning begins with Sabbath School (small group Bible study classes) - for all ages at 9:30 am, followed by the Worship Service at 11:15 am.

Sabbath School

Sabbath School are small group Bible study classes who follow a series of lessons based on a particular book of the Bible.  Classes meet on Sabbath (Saturday) mornings at church from 9:30 am.  Groups for young people such as Beginners, Kindergarten, Primary and Teens meet downstairs.  Adult classes are located both up and downstairs.

Sabbath School for children involves songs, activities, and Bible lessons. The teens have various activities and interactive lessons, and the classes for adults are an interactive Bible discussion.

“Sabbath School is one of the most important parts of Sabbath.  It gives us the opportunity for fellowship, mission understanding, outreach… Bible study and discussion… in a small group setting. No one should miss Sabbath School!”

Ted N C Wilson | President SDA General Conference

Baptism

Baptism marks the beginning of a new commitment to God

Baptism is the new beginning of a committed relationship and marks the beginning of something meaningful. It is a symbol of spiritual renewal and healing and is a transforming experience in which the heart opens to the presence of God - a presence that anticipates and allows for new possibilities in one’s life.

It marks and celebrates the movement from slavery to sin to freedom in Christ. It marks the birth of a new heart, receptive to a new outlook, new values, new tastes, new desires, and new possibilities.

Baptism also symbolizes that you belong to a new family, a new community, which the Bible calls the body of Christ, the church 1 Corinthians 12:12, 13
